Juice Plus+ Bridges the Gap for Fruit & Veggies

It’s New Year’s Resolution time! Is health & wellness on your list for 2014?

I've noticed a shift these past few years – people are taking control of their health like never before. We’re making good choices for fitness and nutrition and sticking to the plan. ‘Dieting’ in the traditional sense is being replaced with a focus on the quality of what’s going into our bodies and not necessarily the quantity. Exercise and proper nutrition are becoming the norm for weight loss – weight loss that lasts – and it's now a habit with many as opposed to an exception. I know that when I eat better, not only do I feel better, but I want to KEEP eating higher quality foods. It was a natural progression for me, and I don't think I'm alone in that.

Recently, in the course of researching additives/fillers used in vitamin supplements, I discovered a product made from whole foods – fruits and vegetables to be precise. Even though I've made a conscious effort to increase the amount of F&V in my diet, I know I still don’t get enough.

Depending on age and sex, the Canada Food Guide recommends anywhere from 7 to 10 servings daily for optimal health. In our busy lives, it can be hard to do that. I know I don’t eat that much daily. Vitamins are a great option, but I want to get away from supplements that contain ingredients that I can’t even pronounce let alone know what purpose they serve. I’m sure we've all heard how important F&V are to our bodies - according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, they lower the risk of developing chronic diseases and can help with weight management. If I can bridge the gap in a better way, I’d sure like to.

Juice Plus+ does just that. Water is removed from fresh produce and the fruits & veggies converted to powder and encapsulated. The nutrients are completely intact, including powerful antioxidants our bodies need as protection on a cellular level. This isn't a vitamin supplement… it’s whole food nutrition, without chemicals or additives, many of which are a source of debate on whether or not they’re harmful if taken long-term. I'm not saying the supplements out there are bad for you - I'm just being more cautious about what I'm putting in my body. The good news is that the NSF has certified this product to be free of any harmful chemicals or pesticides. I checked – the product is listed on their official site (www.nsf.org). So if I’m going to take a supplement, why wouldn't I take something that my body readily recognizes and absorbs? Of course, there’s no substitute for eating the actual F&V. But I sure don’t eat the variety that’s in Juice Plus+.

Have you got children? Get this – the makers have a great program wherein if a family takes Juice Plus+, for every parent, grandparent, or other adult that signs up as a customer, Juice Plus+ is provided FREE to a child, teenager or college student – for up to three years! It’s part of a Children’s Health Study, and all the parents need to do is fill out a survey every 90 days. Ages range from 4 years old to University level (must be enrolled in a school to participate). Kids can be picky eaters - the chewables are a great option to see that they're getting their portion daily. And they're DELICIOUS! I've tried them! Mmmmmmm! Good news on that front - there are chewables available for adults, too! Hee hee... Want more info? Check out my website – my guess is you’ll be as intrigued as I was! Want to sign up? You can place your order directly through me, worldwide! The product is shipped from your region! Contact me and I can provide a price list for your area.
