Seniors' Fitness presents Move & Groove - Friday Mornings

These classes a ton of fun, and new participants are always welcome. Each week is slightly different as we mix things up with a mix of balance exercises, low impact cardio, strength/resistance training, core, and flexibility.  Feedback has been very positive overall, and I love seeing such a diverse range of ages and abilities each week! This format is best for those who are still ambulatory and able to get down and up off the floor unassisted. 

One of the keys to longevity is to keep moving! I truly believe another aspect of healthy aging is to have fun. Lots of FUN. In class, this comes partly through the music selection, whether the mix of the week includes some great eras in music from Big Band, Classic Rock and/or '50s & '60s to my 'karaoke mixes' wherein the songs are familiar to most participants and we sing along. Like karaoke, it doesn't matter what it sounds like... and it goes right along with my #1 rule in class - you can't do it wrong! If you like the song, sing! Music is so therapeutic! (Don't worry, if you're not prone to singing, I'll serenade you... tee hee)

Whether your goal is weight loss, better balance & coordination, ease of movement overall, or just getting out to be with other people, this class can help!  

Bring a Pilates mat (thicker than a yoga mat) if you have one, a clean, dry pair of walking/ running shoes, a water bottle, and wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing.

Please arrive early for your first class to sign a waiver.

Our schedule includes a variety of class options including intervals, resistance and strength training, incorporating balance, stability, mobility, core, and more. Schedule and format at this location are subject to change from time to time - visit Class Time, Location & Cost for the current lineup and discount opportunities.

Note: On-street parking only. Building located in the centre of the townhouse complex. Classes are held upstairs - accessed via the entrance on the NW corner of the building (opposite side of the building from the balcony)

Join us Monday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 for Walk 15® at Tuxedo Park Community Association! Classes are ongoing and are free for Community Association Members. Come on over for an hour of fun in this health club quality workout that's founded on 15-minute miles! Easy to learn, effective in results!
Cost:  FREE for Community Association Members!
