Seniors' Fitness - Thursday Evenings & Friday Mornings

Classes in the Fall were a ton of fun, with new participants joining as we continue to grow. The Thursday evening class is establishing well and it's interesting to note that we have a completely different group of people from the Friday a.m. class. Each week is slightly different as we mix things up, and I've been incorporating more balance training, which will continue in our January sessions - see dates below.  Feedback has been very positive overall, and I'm excited to announce January's dates below! 

One of the keys to longevity is to keep moving! Whether your goal is weight loss, better balance and coordination, or ease of movement overall, this class can help! The 60-minute format (approx) includes a cardio segment, strength/resistance training, exercises for your core (you must be able to get down and up off the floor unassisted), balance and flexibility. These classes are so much fun, especially when we start singing the songs - the entire class is done to some great music, from classical, classic rock, 50's & 60's, faith-based and more! 

Bring a Pilates mat if you have one, a clean, dry pair of walking/ running shoes, a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing.

Thursdays - check the doors for signs - classes may be either upstairs or downstairs on Thursdays
Time: 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Winter 2019 Dates:
January 10 - March 28

Fridays in the Main Hall, ground floor
Time: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. 

Winter 2019 Dates:
January 11 - March 29


Pay just $50 for all 12 classes for either series (payable at your first class by cash or cheque - 
make it out to Woodcreek Community Association) or Drop in for $6.
Please bring EXACT CHANGE to classes.

Our schedule includes a variety of class options including intervals, resistance and strength training, incorporating balance, stability, mobility, core, and more. Schedule and format at this location are subject to change from time to time - visit Class Time, Location & Cost for the current lineup and discount opportunities.

Note: On-street parking only. Building located in the centre of the townhouse complex. Classes are held upstairs - accessed via the entrance on the NW corner of the building (opposite side of the building from the balcony)

Join us Monday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 for Walk 15® at Tuxedo Park Community Association! Classes are ongoing and are free for Community Association Members. Come on over for an hour of fun in this health club quality workout that's founded on 15-minute miles! Easy to learn, effective in results!
Cost:  FREE for Community Association Members!
